In addition to the CR-Z sports coupe, Skydeck MPVhttp://cars-mania9500.blogspot.com/ and EV-N concept studies, Honda's exhibits at this year's Tokyo Motor Show also included the new Civic Type R Euro which the company plans to introduce in Japan in November. The three-door hatch is built at Honda's Swindon factory in the UK and is fitted with a rev-happy 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four that makes 201 HP at 7,800 rpm and 142 lb-ft of torque at 5,600 rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual.Honda did not disclose any performance figures for the JDM-spec Civic Type R hatch, but we gather there won't any changes over the European market version that goes from naught to 62mph (100 km/h) in 6.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 146mph or 235 km/h.
